About Amanda

Amandalee Design was born in 2016 when Amanda opened up an Etsy shop. Little did she know her side hustle would one day become her full-time job.

LOVE AT FIRST CLICK

Growing up Amanda was always doodling. But when she discovered graphic design in her senior year of high school, it was love at first click!  After working in the design field for over ten years at different companies—everything from educational companies to retail shops—she felt unsatisfied creatively and decided to start making artwork on the side. She now sells her travel artwork and apparel online, in over 30 stores nationwide, and at pop-up markets all over California. What set’s her designs apart is that it’s not just decorative, it’s informative. Her design combines iconic nature landmarks and typographical facts.

INSPIRED BY NATURE

Amanda is constantly inspired by nature. Growing up in the central valley of California, she was surrounded by flat terrain. When she moved to San Luis Obispo county in 2009 to get married, she was in awe of all the beautiful hills and mountains in the area. Her product collection now features many different peaks from some of the most popular U.S. National Parks.

She lives in SLO County of California with her husband and daughter, and spends her days trying to balance work life and mom life.
